'Smile for the artist!'

I'm still working on developing my biro sketching skills. I decided to draw my Khajiit Dragonborn J'shana with her family: her husband Derkeethus, her son Ma'vasha (later Ra'vasha), her daughter Meleetha and her dog Meeko. (I know Meleetha should really be a Khajiit, but Racial Phylogeny only says that 'generally' half-bloods take their mother's race.) My perspective isn't perfect, but this was more practice than anything, and I'm happy with how it turned out. I used references only for J'shana and Derkeethus's clothes.
I reckon in this picture, Ma'vasha is about  seven, and Meleetha is five. I tried to make Meleetha look happy and she ended up looking a little evil instead. I think maybe it's something to do with the eye-ridges. Ah well.
Maybe some day I'll pluck up the courage to attempt a background... :XD:

Looks like I managed to forget J'shana's scars. And Derkeethus's tail. I'll sort that out soon...

Your art begins looking professional. (Relatively, for sure. but anyway...) I can't get used to a warrior in a homelike dress! Like, she saves the world, kills the World Evil, and then... puts on an apron and goes cook soup... Waaaah! Waaaah! Waaaah!
Likes: hatching, composition, detalization.  Derkeethus's'arms and hands (aw yeah, did u use any refs? ), and shading. Heart
Dislikes: Ma'vasha's arms (too rounded. No need to do them that way, there are just two bones jointed inside and they make an angle), J'shana's legs and her left hand. They're pretty weird. Sorry for criticising, I've thought it would be useful for you to hear some places could be upgraded. :)
Overall, you have such a cool technique, and you could become 200% better if you learn anatomy deeper. Although your knowledge of the anatomy (or, more correctly, your feeling of it) is already quite high now, why not improve it up to a proper level? You'll make masterpieces. Love
